The Kapla bricks were being used to create towers (the two Freya's built two fantastic towers).
The cars and garage were out along with the wooden track.
The sand tray was busy with some of the children hiding the shells.
The water tray was very popular with some of the children filling up the space ship and then watching it swoosh out the bottom, like a fountain. Arthur and Charlie Q added the sealife animals to the water tray and had a lot of fun playing together with them.
Luna, Freya and Poppy connected almost all of the unifix blocks to make a very long line along the entire width of the playroom.
The creative table was busy with lots of glue, coloured pipe cleaners and foam being used to make pictures. Some of the children were also using the scissors to make lots of little pieces!!
The lovely blue playdough was out and Arlo enjoyed making some animal shapes then carrying it around to show his friends.
Mrs Blain had story bags based around our topic. A few children used the objects in her story bag to create their own stories. Some of these will be typed and put up in the hallway so look out for them.
Abigail and Lucie were reenacting the three little pigs story at the dolls house using the wolf and pig puppets.
Snack was oatcakes with melon and strawberries along with milk or water to drink.
Calum, Christian and Charlie B were using the waffle bricks to make creations of imaginative vehicles.
At reflection time Mrs Blain spoke about the stories the children had made and then everyone listened to the three little bears CD on the new CD player. Some of the children then used the puppets to retell the story. Buddy bear chose to go home with Charlie Q.
Whatever you're doing this weekend may it be full of fun.
