At Welcome time we talked about Rabbie Burns. Otis was able to tell us that Rabbie was a famous story writer who was Scottish. Felix said his name is Robert Burns ad he lived along time ago. Mrs Friel read a story called Katie's Moose, the boys and girls thought the Scottish words sounded funny, especially the coo sittin on the loo.
Mrs Black was in the maths corner helping the children sort the sea life creatures by shape and colour using large plastic tweezers.
Snack today was pancakes with blueberries and milk or water to drink.
Mrs Friel was at the arts and crafts table helping the boys and girls make Burns cards. The children used glue to stick on a portrait picture of Robert Burns and tartan paper and then wrote a message inside of the card.
For physical time we played our Scottish music and danced the Dashing White Sergeant it was great fun!!!!
