Our water was also looking a bit different, in fact it was green too. The children had to dive down to find the multi-coloured tiddlywinks lurking in the depths. They could also use our measuring jugs to scoop out the hidden treasure. Sophia and Anna were up to this challenge and we hope there weren't too many soggy sleeves.
Mrs Friel was talking to Katie and Olivia about all the different things that our new girls like and don't like. Fortunately all the children like snack so when Mrs Friel brought out the cereals she was very popular!
Mrs Black and Cody were making a mess squeezing oranges to make juice. We also tried to make apple juice but we had a terrible time trying to squeeze the juice out of the apples. We then found out that you can squeeze strawberries but you will not get much juice and be very sticky afterwards. All the children had a turn with the oranges and by Reflection Time we had just enough juice for everybody to have a small taste.
Mrs Brown and Miss Smith were impressed with all the children out in the garden today. The boys and girls were looking around for different shapes and colours and could tell the teachers where they could find circles, triangles and squares of all different shapes and sizes.
We will see you all tomorrow for more soggy, sticky fun!!
