The other day children had been speaking about posting letters so it was fun for them to see how the letter was processed.
The lady let the children weigh the letter and then showed the children how to scan the sticker for the postage. The children were able to identify the big red letter box however the lady told the children that the letter was a special one therefore it didn't go in the red box.
At the library the children chose books for topic and world book day. The lady let the children see how the books were scanned and then stamped. Oscar helped to put the books in the bag after they were scanned. Lots of learning about jobs people do in our community.
All the children walked really well and enjoyed being out and about.
Those who stayed in made Panda faces by dragging forks and cars through white paint with Mrs Blain. Scarlett, Elias and Robbie learnt how to use their online journal, adding photos, drawings and videos to it. Katie and Finn had a lot of fun playing Batman. Sara, Monica and Scarlett played in the water tray together. Robbie, Isla and Elias played with the castle and knights.
Snack was cereal- weetabix, cornflakes, rice krispies and cheerios. Always a favourite.
At reflection time we played Guess who's calling you and Buddy bear decided to go home with Monica.
Have a great weekend everyone.
