Oliver and Harrison wore their tartan kilts to nursery today and looked braw, and the rest of us also wore something tartan as a wee nod to Scottish poet Robert Burns who we celebrate on this day.
In keeping with that theme, we got creative and made special Scottish hats called tammies.
Then we had a special taste testing activity when we all tried a wee bit of haggis, neeps & tatties- the traditional meal to eat at a Burns Supper on this day.
Afterwards it was time for the Burns poetry recital. The teachers said we all performed 'gey weel'.
We managed to squeeze in a bit more Scottish dancing which we had great fun doing.
Buddy is off to spend the weekend with Faith and her family. Have lots of fun!
Happy Burns Day everyone. Have a guid weekend!
