Mrs Black took the boys and girls outside to do an experiment. They made bubbles using a bottle top, a cloth, an elastic band, fairy liquid and a straw. Ros took quick short breaths to make little bubbles and Otis discovered if he took one big breath to make a large bubble. The children were very independent at putting their jackets on all by themselves before going out.
At the messy table the children filled the tray with milk and then added some food colouring using pipettes.
Snack was wraps, tomatoes and apples with a choice of milk or water.
Mrs Brown was teaching the children about healthy food. The children looked at lots of fruit and vegetables and put them on the green placemat as they give us a healthy heart. The children put the carbohydrate foods on the yellow placemat and they give us energy and dairy foods went on the blue mat and they give us strong teeth and bones. Ava said "you need energy for soccer ball practice", and Louis said "you need energy to play rugby". Eilidh D said "I know cottage cheese coz I've stayed in a cottage".
At goodbye time Buddy asked the boys and girls what they were going to do at the weekend? Felix took Buddy home for the weekend and is going to take Buddy bear to Sunday club. Thank you to Margaret (Ruari's gran) who came in to help today.
