Mrs Brown was getting messy helping the boys and girls make their presents for Mother's Day on Sunday. The children enjoyed filling up the soil and counting out the seeds to plant in their pots. I am sure that they will remember to water the seeds and give them plenty of sunshine until they are ready to plant outside. Please feel free to give us updates on how they are growing!
Mrs Winsley served up a tasty treat of bananas, apples, cherry tomatoes and tortilla wraps. The children were very good at trying all the different foods available for snack.
Through in the small hall the boys and girls hathat with d even more chances to make the mums feel special by making beautiful Mother's Day cards. Mrs Blain had brought down celery and the children used that with stamp pads to create amazing designs on their cards.
Mrs Black was highly impressed with the boys and girls counting skills. They were identifying the numbers 1 - 20 and then counting out Lego blocks up to their number. It was brilliant to see what they could then build with just the small amount of blocks - Felix told us that he was "making the future".
At Reflection Time Buddy Bear was listening hard to all the boys and girls plans for the weekend. He decided that he would like to visit Eilidh Walsh and see what fun he could have at her house - I hope he behaves himself Eilidh and doesn't get up to mischief with Callum!!
Finally a huge congratulation to Ben Gough, Emma, Freya, Mum and Dad on the safe arrival on Baby Boy Gough. We can't wait to meet your new baby brother Ben and wish you all the very best. Happy Weekend everybody and have a lovely Mother's Day on Sunday.
