Today at welcome time we listened to news from Anton, Iris and Kai. Anton told us about his favourite toys the dinosaurs, Iris told us about her lovely necklace that her mum bought from the shops and Kai told us all about what he is going to do on his holiday. We also talked about our visit from Stevie the Karate coach, Evan demonstrated how to kick and punch, Kerr told us that Karate comes from Japan, Phoebe counted from 1-10 in Japanese and Sarah said that Karate is good exercise.
For snack we had wraps with grated cheese and tomatoes, with milk or water to drink.
Mrs Friel was helping the boys and girls to make Father's Day cards, some of children have not made one yet but will do it next week. Mrs Brown was playing a sensory game with the children using their hands to feel objects under a towel and guess what the objects were.
At physical time we had a vote to decide what game to play, it was 9 votes for Big Brown Bear and 7 votes for Duck Duck Goose.
We then practised our graduation show using some of our new props.
