Snack was yoghurt with grapes and banana and a choice of milk or water.
Some of the boys and girls went out a walk with Mrs Friel and Mrs Blain. During their walk they spotted lots of different types of transport and were very excited to tell their friends all about it when they returned. We will aim to go out most days to ensure all children who want to go out get a turn. Please bring appropriate clothing for an outdoor walk each day and if we are lucky enough to have sunshine please put sun cream on the children before nursery.
Eilidh D brought in a story she had borrowed from Rutherglen library called "Mice in the churchyard". This was a rhyme story and the children particularly enjoyed looking at the pictures of the cats at the back Jessica's favourite was a cat called Elsa and Ben A's favourite was a cat called smartie because he likes to eat smarties.
At physical time the boys and girls done some yoga moves (Ruari thought it was called Yoda from Star Wars). The children learned the mouse and cat pose just like our story and also learned the rag doll, unicorn, volcano, happy baby, aeroplane and zero.
