We practised our nativity play and the children were doing some super singing, you must all be working very hard at home because they are delivering their lines fantastically - keep up the good work. Later on Euan was phoning up the other shepherds and having a chat with them about the job role!
All this rehearsing made the children very hungry and they enjoyed their rice cakes, carrot sticks, grapes and cheese - plates were emptied quickly this morning. We had a chat about the different kind of milks you can get. Matthew M told us that milk normally comes from a cow and then we had a look at soya and oat milk to see if it looked and smelt different.
The children loved physical time today - they had a go with the hula hoops and then swapped over to the beanbags. There was spinning, balancing, rolling and throwing all going on at the one time.
At Reflection Time we sang our "Days of the Week" song and the children told Mrs Blain that it was Monday. We then had a think about different words that start with "m" such as "mummy" and "Matthew". Mrs Blain then asked the children what nursery rhymes they knew and Monica could perform "Humpty Dumpty" in front of all her friends.
We will see you all tomorrow for more fun and learning.
