We were making some fancy wrapping paper for the Christmas topic by using wooden blocks to create christmas trees and snowmen. We used triangles to make the christmas trees and different sizes of circles to make snowmen. Melody said "They have toys under wrapping paper, I saw Santa, he gave me a present when I opened it, it was yummy chocolate." Elijah said "You would see what your presents are if they weren't wrapped." Once it's all dry we will use the lovely wrapping paper to wrap some 3D shapes. When we were finished painting Mrs Brown wrapped Jasmine up with some wrapping paper and Mrs Blain had to guess who it was, it was very funny.
Snack was rice cakes, carrot sticks and banana with a choice of milk or water.
We practiced our Nativity play which was fantastic, we can tell everyone has been learning their lines at home and we have some lovely singers.
Before home time we used stickers to vote in a graph to choose which was our favourite rhyme activities. The choices were rhyme stories, rhyme bag or rhyme cards. The most popular with 6 votes was .........................Rhyme cards.
Thank you to Ruari's Gran Margaret for helping this morning as parent's meeting were going on.
Tomorrow is Olivia's turn for show & tell, we can't wait to see what Olivia brings in.
