At welcome time we listened to Kai's show about his football table. He did a super job and all of the boys and girls got a turn to play with it.
We said good morning and good bye to each other in French and learned how to say yes and no (oui and no).
We celebrated St Andrew's Day today by making a Soltire flag with a Scottie dog.
The children also got a little Scotland flag (using face paints) on their face, hand or arm.
Snack today was toast and banana with a choice of milk or water. We also had a piece of shortbread which everyone enjoyed.
We listened to a funny story called Katie's Moose a traditional Scots rhyming book for wee folk.
We talked about different things that are Scottish including, bagpipes, tartan and shortbread. Some of the boys and girls tried on a kilt !
We then played Scottish music and the ceilidh began. The children were all very good at following the instructions of the dance and in time with the music. The last song was Auld Lang Syne, we had super fun dancing in a large circle.
