At Welcome time the children sang the days of the week song and talked about how many days there are in a week. We voted on what physical game to play either duck duck goose or rainbow catcher. Rainbow catcher won by 14 votes to 7.
Mrs Friel and the children worked in the floorbook drawing their dream homes using chalk and blackboard paper. Once the children had drawn their pictures Mrs Friel then sprayed it with hairspray so that the chalk could not be rubbed off....amazing!!!! Look out for these pictures on the nursery wall.
Mrs Brown and the children were adding up coins. First they put some coins into the red bowl and then added coins into the blue bowl, the children then put the contents of both of the bowls into the yellow one and added them up, the children were very good at this, some even added the coins up in their heads.
Mrs Black played number lotto with the children and dominoes, the boys and girls are getting very good at waiting their turn.
Ms Smith prepared toast with butter, apple slices and peppers for snack, with water or milk to drink.
Ms Smith read two stories to the children; We're going on a bear hunt and The Snail and the Whale.
We sang three of our graduation songs, Wet Wet Wet seems to be the favourite for now.
