Mrs Friel worked on the floor book with the children. The boys and girls were very good at telling her how many windows, tyres, doors, steering wheels, spare tyres, seats a car has. They then drew pictures of these items and wrote the number beside it. The children are becoming more confident at writing numbers without adult support.
At physical time today the children decided that they wanted to listen to our Sticky kids CD. They had great fun pretending to be; a car, a train and and an aeroplane. We then played a game of musical statues to our Lazy Town song.
Mrs Brown read some of the children 2 stories today; It's the Bear and Don't put your finger in the Jelly Nelly. She then talked to the children about the stories and asked which one they liked best.
Snack today was toast with banana and strawberries with water or milk to drink.
At Reflection time Cody said he liked playing with his new friend Ben G. Louis said he liked dressing up with Ben A. and Olivia said she liked playing with the play dough.
Nursery is closed tomorrow and Monday for the September weekend so we will see everyone on Tuesday 29th. Have a lovely holiday everyone.
