Back to today though, and all the fun activities the children participated in. We got very messy today making a swamp from gloop. Cody chose blue and green paint and Eilidh Walsh helped him mix it all together. The dinosaurs loved splashing through it.
Ruari and Leo had lots of fun with the knights but their castle came under attack from some more dinosaurs.
In the book corner Olivia and Melody listened to Noddy stories. Olivia, Mack and Eilidh Dingwall then showed Mrs Black all the differences they could spot between two pictures of Noddy.
Mrs Friel enjoyed talking to the children about all their different hobbies and might try some of them herself. Otis showed Mrs Friel how good he was at writing the word "hobbies" so maybe writing stories is one of his.
Over at the maths table Mrs Brown went fishing. The boys and girls were very good at catching the fish and telling her the numbers on the fish. Once the fish were all caught Otis and Olivia cooked them up and enjoyed them for lunch.
All the children tried out our new toys today. We had a bouncy time on our dinosaurs. Ava, Eliza and Jessica were very good at getting around on them. Leon really enjoyed climbing through the pop-up tents and tunnel.
Snack today was tortilla wraps, chicken and tomatoes served up by Mrs Gallagher and there was very little left over which is always a good sign! The boys and girls must having been hungry because they were very busy all morning.
