We had one of our Nursery Open Days's today, were parents were invited to come into nursery to have a look around with their child and speak to their child's keyworker.
We brushed our teeth and then found our name to put on the board. All of the children are becoming very good at recognising their names.
The boys and girls worked on the floorbook today with Mrs Friel talking about road safety. Eliza was very helpful and copied out the words road and safety we then cut these out and glued them into the floorbook. Finlay drew traffic lights and said that you cross at the green man. Ava said that you hold your mum, dad or gran's hand when you go for Halloween things and shopping. Otis said that Ziggy from the road safety books does'nt know much about being safe but its okay because the mum tells him what's right and wrong.
Mrs Brown continued working with the children reading rhyming stories for the Literacy floorbook.
Snack today was Shreddies or Rice Krispies with a choice of milk or water to drink.
We celebrated two achievements today at Get Together Time. Eilidh Walsh has moved up from Pre school class to beginners class in swimming. Eilidh says she can swim under water to get the toys. Felix can now ride his bike without using stabilisers. Well done Felix and Eilidh.
