Mrs Blain worked with the children in their floor book. Today they were discussing 'wheels'. Felix told us wheels are metal in the middle and rubber all around. Eilidh D drew some fantastic wheels and described them as circles with little circles in the middle. Finlay told us that tyres have zig zag patterns on them and the wheels help the car roll along the road. We enjoyed pushing toy cars through paint to see the patterns the tyres made in our floor book. It was such good fun that Mrs Blain went into the garden and brought back a huge heavy real tyre. We all loved pushing the tyre back and forwards to each other making pretty patterns as it rolled.
We talked about our Golden Rules and why it is very important to follow these rules.
Before we went home some of the children reflected on their day at nursery....Josh enjoyed playing with his friend Ben A, Ava liked it when her friend Naima helped her pour her milk at snack time and Mack enjoyed pushing the cars through the paint to make patterns.
