What a quiet morning!
Today alot of the boys and girls were at another open day at Calderwood Primary. We had only 9 boys and 2 girls in nursery.
At welcome time the children played a game of Hide n Seek with News Dog. They were very good at finding him. In the dolls house, on the blocks, behind the chair he was even hiding under Mrs Brown's hat.
In our messy corner we had sand and water out. Today it was berry teabags that were in the water. The children enjoyed pouring and filling using the teapot and cups. We had to remember just to pretend to drink the water as it smelled so delicious.
For physical we had out the balancing beams and later in the morning the boys had fun throwing the beanbags into the hula hoops.
Snack today was bagle, cream cheese and cucumber with a choice of milk or water to drink.
In the maths area we had our new bead puzzle out. The children were very good at copying the pattern on the cards.
Mrs Brown and the boys and girls played with the opposite picture and word cards. They all managed to correctly match the opposite pictures and words.
Phoebe and Arianna made beautiful fish hand print pictures to take home for their Mummys.
At story time Mrs Blain read I'm Absolutely Too Little To Go To School.
Just before home time we practiced one of our show songs that we are having a little difficulty with and guess what.......the boys and girls were super singing it!
