Mrs Black was talking to the children today about healthy hearts and the foods that give us protein. Ros told us that she likes chickpeas and that they make houmous. Leo recognised the tin of tuna and said it had a dolphin on it. We then had a look at different types of beans and, later in the garden the children planted some broad beans. Hopefully in about two weeks we will have some beanstalks but no giants!
Mrs Winsley was getting very messy in our outdoor kitchen and Oscar with some of his friends were cooking up some very tasty mud food and drink.
Mrs Brown and Miss Smith were busy listening to the children about what they want to learn at nursery. The targets have been set and parents are invited to comment and see what the children intend to achieve over the next few months.
Mrs Brown was very impressed with the boys and girls that went out to the garden. Most of our children can now put their shoes and waterproof suits on themselves and we are very proud of this achievement.
Mrs Friel was serving up a tasty snack of carbohydrates and dairy (cereal and milk to you and me!) and it went down a storm.
We hope that Craig is feeling better soon and want to say a big "Well Done" to Katie for being so brave getting her jags today. We hope your arm feels better tomorrow.
