Today, after taking our register, Maya Rose told us about what she had brought to nursery for Show and Tell.
Maya Rose brought Red Bird to show the boys and girls. She let us hear the funny noises it makes. Then she told us what happens in the Angry Bird game and why the birds are angry. Thank you Maya.
We enjoyed rice cakes, oranges, grapes and mango for snack.
We made a super picture for our walls using a copy of Robert Burn's song called "Auld Lang Syne" and some pieces of tartan paper to make a border.
We listened to a CD of a lady called Eddi Reader singing "Auld Lang Syne" and "Charlie is my Darlin'". Most boys and girls voted for "Charlie is my Darlin'" as the best song.
After hearing the songs we listened to some more of Robert Burn's poems from a book called "Rabbie's Rhymes". Some of the words were really funny!
Hope everyone is having fun learning their poem for Tomorrow.
As we had been very good at listening for a while we finished the morning with a game of swapping seats. we jumped and "high fived" as we swapped with our friends.
Finally, thanks again to Hana's Mum, Lynn, for coming in to play with us today and for helping the teachers.
