Mrs Friel wanted to take advantage of the good weather so it was jumpers for goalposts time. The children had a brilliant time kicking the football about outside and I think there are some budding professionals in there. Maybe next time there will be a scout for the Scotland team and there may be some signings going on.
Mrs Black was talking to the boys and girls about their topic again. Today we were counting our fingers, hands, noses and ears. Eilidh Dingwall drew round her hands and wrote the numbers 1 - 10 on her fingers. Eliza also drew round her hands and numbered them 1 and 2.
Over in the book corner Ben Archibald, Ben Gough, Cody and Louis were very busy working on becoming authors. Ben Archibald drew a fabulous picture with all The Gruffalo characters and Ben Gough drew the story of How The Grinch Stole Christmas - good work boys.
Mrs Brown knew that, with all this physical activity and brain exercise the children would need to refuel. In no time at all she had served up bread and butter with salami and apple all washed down with milk or water. This proved to be a big hit and there was no leftovers for the teachers to snack on!
At Reflection Time Mrs Brown was listening to the children describe all the different emotions and how this could make them feel. Mrs Black read the story "Guess How Much I Love You" and we had lots of fun seeing how far we could reach and stretch.
We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and I think a little bird told us that there might be a birthday boy ... we will have to wait and see!
