A soggy Anna was playing with different sized balls in the water tray, some that floated and some that sank. Olivia painted a beautiful picture at our easel using purples, reds and blues. Oscar's pom pom picture was also brilliant and, as soon as the artwork has dried out, parents will be able to put them pride of place on the fridge at home!!
Ros, Craig and Jack were busy at the hairdressers getting ready for a wedding I believe. Cody and Leon decided to send them a card or it might have been an invitation - I'm not quite sure but it looked like it was going to be a fun day.
Out in the garden Melody was doing some lovely dancing with ribbons, whilst the other children were doing lots of running, jumping over hurdles and driving the balance bikes. Even the rain couldn't stop our children having lots of fun in the garden.
Ruari, Logan, Jasmine and Sophia were looking at the bins outside - we were investigating where all the food packaging goes after we have eaten our snack. We then had a chat about recycling and where the rubbish goes after it is picked up by the binmen. We took photographs of the plastic tubs, milk cartons, egg boxes and left over potatoes and then stuck them into the bins in the floorbook.
We had plenty of recycling left over from snack today, it was the very popular cereal choices of Cheerios, Rice Krispies or Shreddies so lots of cardboard boxes and milk cartons being used.
We will see you all tomorrow for more fun inside and out - hopefully the rain will stay off for us!
