Ava and Aaron were making some beautiful pictures and I think Mickey Mouse may have been in one of Ava's creations.
Leon was having his hair styled by Mack in the Stonelaw Hair Salon and Eliza, Zara and Melody were caring for their babies, making sure they were the best dressed babies around.
We were looking back at some photographs of our site visit to Burnside Primary school, Josh and Felix told Mrs Black that you needed to wear a hard hat and a vest to keep you safe on a building site, Eilidh Walsh thought that the scaffolding looked like pipes and Ros thought that you would need "tons and tons of machines" to do the work. Mrs Black was very impressed with all the answers.
We had cereal for snack today with a choice between Rice Krispies and Cheerios with plenty of milk and water to drink. The children were very good at drinking the water, probably because it was so warm.
Soon we headed off to Overtoun Park to make some art in amongst the trees. Mrs Friel was working away with Zara to create a brilliant wigwam, Mrs Brown was very proud of all the beautiful butterflies the children made with leaves, daisies and sticks. Ava and her friends built a tree house and Ben Archibald and Jessica used leaves to make a beanstalk and sticks, feathers and various other things lying around to make a very scary giant's face waiting at the top. It was lots of fun (so was the tree climbing) but it was soon time to head back to nursery.
Well done to Logan - your Show and Tell was brilliant today and the children loved to hear all about the Superheroes that you brought in.
We will see you all tomorrow for more fun and hopefully more sunshine.
