The children were using the force with Mrs Friel as they created a pulley system using two chairs, some rope and a bucket. By pushing and pulling on the rope they were able to send secret items to one and other.
Out in the garden there was more pulling going on but this time it was war! Tug Of War to be precise with Mrs Brown and Mrs Winsley in one team and the children in the other and the winners were ..... the children!! The garden was finally finished yesterday and the grand opening of our mud kitchen was today. The children loved clambering up and down the slope, using the tyres and rope to pull themselves up the slippery hill and sliding back down in their wonderful waterproofs.
Mrs Black was also getting messy, this time with lovely green paint and hand prints. The children were using their hands to make Christmas trees and their fingers to decorate the branches. All the pictures have gone into our floorbook and they look fantastic.
Snack today was tasty cereal with the choice of Cheerios, Shreddies and Rice Krispies and some of the children had used so much energy that they were looking for seconds.
We had our nativity songs playing in the background today as the children came back from the garden and it was brilliant to hear them all joining in with the words. They are all learning their songs really well and we think you will be very proud of them when it comes to showtime.
We will see you all again tomorrow for more fun and learning.
